Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village, managed by Legacy Hotels and Resorts Limited have a rare opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our high calibre team in a well-established global brand.

This role will drive the post opening of the Novotel Liverpool Padding Village.

The hotel boasts 221 bedrooms across 16 floors, a variety of sophisticated meeting rooms, a 53sqm Gym and ground floor coffee shop.

Role Overview
The position of the Finance Assistant will report into the Finance Manager. The Finance Assistant will be responsible for the day to day running of finance within the hotel.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Monitor receipt of sums due, ensuring all outstanding sums are recovered within set timescales/deadlines
Supporting the Finance Manager on a daily basis
Ensure daily work schedule is maintained at an acceptable level
Provide a professional service to clients and sources & suppliers
Provide support and advice to other departments were necessary
Ensuring all principal accountabilities related to the role are being satisfied

What are we looking for?

Excellent communication, presentation and selling skills
Ability to effectively influence key customers / corporate contacts / agents / GM / business owners and senior management team to support the sales growth targets
Previous experience in a similar role is necessary
Accounting qualification desirable e.g. AAT
Sage accounts
Microsoft Office
