Procurement Contracts Manager


An exciting new opportunity for a Procurement Contracts Manager to join a leading engineering support services and defence company based in Rosyth with a salary up to £55,852.

This fantastic position has been created to support the business in its recentgrowth and increased project requirements.

The Procurement Contracts Manager leads the procurement and contract management processes, ensuring supply chain key deliverables are met to agreed project costs, schedule and quality.


Responsibilities of the Procurement Contracts Manager:


  • Managing contract risks and change, and implementing effective mitigations to meet project cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Leading negotiations with suppliers to ensure that the most costeffective supply solutions are carried out and contractual risk is minimised.
  • Managing supplier performance to ensure effective delivery of contracted requirements through regular progress reporting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensuring good budgetary controls and reporting structures throughout life of projects.

Person Specification of the Procurement Contracts Manager:

Hold or be eligible for SC clearance
:


  • Previous experience and good understanding of contractual forms, terms, and conditions e.g., NEC and FIDIC.
  • Welldeveloped communication skills and ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge and practitioner of contract management, supply principles, processes and practice.
  • Selfmotivated with drive to deliver results.

Salary:

Up to £55,852


This role will be ideal for you if you have previous experience within procurement and sourcing as a Commercial Manager, Contracts Manager, Senior Commercial Officer, Senior Contracts Administrator, Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, or similar.
