Do you have software testing experience, and are you seeking a new hybrid job in Cambridge? If so, we want to hear from you Deerfoot IT Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a skilled and dedicated Software Tester to join their friendlyand talented team.

This full-time software testing role comes with an attractive salary of £45k-£55k p/a plus excellent benefits and the opportunity of flexible working with 1 day per week in the office.

As an attentive Software Tester, you will be an integral part of the company's development teams, working alongside developers and operations experts in every stage of the software development process.

You will follow an exploratory testing approach, treatinglearning, test design and test implementation as simultaneous tasks.

In addition, you will work closely with users, both internal and external clients, to help the company understand their needs, including helping out with support issues.

To succeed in this software testing job, you must be the sort of person who enjoys working as part of a small team and able to communicate your thoughts well.

You should also enjoy collaborating with others and relish solving challenging problems.

In addition,you should have the following skills and expertise:

Experience in testing commercial software and the wider testing lifecycle
A sound grasp of the theory of testing
Familiarity with automated testing tools with a good understanding of what they are and are not useful for
Expertise in configuring and maintaining test environments
Interest in understanding the business needs of the customers and users of the software you test
