    Description

    If you have Field Service Engineer experience and you're seeking a new role in Cramlington, we want to hear from you. Deerfoot IT Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Field Engineer, and the role comes with a salary of up to £30k and excellent benefits.

    As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for hands-on technical tasks, including networking, server, and computer hardware hardware maintenance, making cables, and general technical support.

    In your first few weeks in this Field Engineer role, you can expect to:

    • Assist in the setup, testing, and maintenance of networking, server, and computer systems
    • Fabricate and install cables, including Coax, RS2c2 serial, RJ45, Cat5, and Cat6, and perform soldering tasks
    • Conduct on-site technical support and troubleshooting
    • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
    • Provide customer training and support as needed.

    To apply for this Field Service Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

    • Basic knowledge of networking, server, and computer hardware
    • Experience with cable making, including Coax, RS2c2 serial, RJ45, Cat5, and Cat6
    • Hands-on experience with soldering
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to work in various environments are also essential.

    You'll receive a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 and an attractive benefits package for your knowledge, expertise and flexibility.
