Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet company objectives
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
  • Analyze market trends and conditions to ensure competitive pricing and quality of goods
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in procurement technology

Skills:


  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, systems, and tools (e.g., Oracle EBS, SAP, AS400)
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on market trends and conditions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in purchasing records and contract terms
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and logistics

Note:
Experience with Edwards or other relevant systems is a plus.


Salary:
£28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
