Are you a HR Assistant / Administrator who is looking for an immediate start?

We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Administrator initially on a 6 month fixed term contract. This is newly created role and has potential to become permanent position.

This is full time position working 35 hours per week.

You can work from there Colchester office or work fully remotely; you will attend the office as and when is required which is likely to be 4 or 5 times a year.

£20,000 - £24,144 per annum


Role

  • Dealing with general HR enquiries from staff and contractors
  • Working with the HR team to ensure that all people related processes along the employee journey from recruitment and onboarding, through performance management to leaving the company.
  • Responsible for the administration related to all people related processes.
  • Ensuring HR files and folder structure is kept up to date and accurate.
  • Sending out monthly HR reports to Managers generated by the reporting analyst
  • Administering and maintaining employee benefits
  • Following up with line managers on employee probation periods and drafting and issuing
- letters

  • Setting up new starters on the HR database and maintaining existing records
  • Working with the HR/ Recruitment Officer to provide an effective recruitment process, including arranging interviews and maintaining the recruitment module of the HR system,
- ensuring data is up to date and accurate.

  • Assisting the HR/ Recruitment Officer with onboarding and new starter instructions
  • Collating right to work checks, reference requests, and other documentation to ensure legal compliance before new joiners begin work
