Group Accountant, 6 Months, Hybrid Working, Immediate Start
The role will pay a day rate of £350 - £400 per day or £60,000 - £70,000 per annum.
*ACA Qualification is essential for this role
You will be responsible for consolidating the accounts for this consumer business based in West London. The role will assist and report to, the group Financial Controller in delivering half-year & annual reports.

Your Duties:

Monthly group consolidation of monthly, annual (statutory) and budget data;
Liaise with external auditors for the yearend audit of the Group
Post journals in relation to Group consolidation and corporate entities;
Review submissions from Business Units and follow up anomalies;
Analysing, designing and coordinating processes for the Group such as system changes, new IFRS, month/yearend
Prepare monthly Management Performance Report;
Reconciliation of key Group Balance Sheet accounts
Preparation of the Group cash flow
Assistance with preparation of certain notes to the Group Financial Statements;
Input into resolution of accounting technical issues;
Assist with adhoc queries i.e. acquisition/disposal of subsidiaries, technical queries and JV
You have a degree or equivalent.
You are commercially strong & analytical.
ACA qualified with an audit background

You can be straight from Practice or you can have post qualified experience in industry (any sector)
You will also have a proven track record of delivering under pressure & to tight deadlines.

The role is part of a team that works well together, you will need to demonstrate experience of collaborating with others across functional & geographic boundaries.
