About the role
Our client is looking for a Site Support Operative - (1 post) to join their Specialist Living team on a part time basis.
You will deliver a high quality caretaking and building maintenance service, resulting in a consistently safe and high-quality environment, which creates positive spaces for extra care housing customers.
You will support the Scheme Manager to ensure thatthe building is compliant with legislation and undertaking weekly fire alarm checks and administration of log books.
You will support the Scheme Manager in the day to day maintenance of the scheme including reporting repairs and H&S concerns, reducing H&S risks and ensuring building security is maintained.
What are they looking for?
You should have previous experience in a similar role, dealing with handy person repairs and using power tools safely. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and external organisations. Understanding of Health and Safety responsibilities.
The ability to follow procedures and provide performance data of operations. A satisfactory disclosure barring service (DBS) reference will be required.

They offer a competitive salary of £19,800 per annum as the full-time equivalent salary for the role (please note that the salary will be pro rata based on 20 hours a week - Monday - Friday 09:00am-01:00pm) a generous annual leave entitlement of 31 days,plus 1 additional days leave for your birthday (which can be taken at any time), plus bank holidays and a pension scheme with employer matched contributions of up to 10%.
