easyJet's Engineering and Maintenance team are renowned for their innovative solutions.

As part of the team you will have the opportunity to engage with all aspects of the airline's operation to deliver the highest standards of aircraft performance, and will play a part in delivering Europe's highest technical despatch reliability as recognised by Airbus.

With the current program introducing the cutting-edge NEO aircraft and the arrival of the A321.


As the Principal Maintenance Programmes Engineer, your main responsibility will be to manage and develop aircraft maintenance programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.

You will work closely with the Senior Fleet Engineering Manager and Engineering Team Leader to ensure that maintenance programs are developed and implemented efficiently, effectively, and on schedule.


You will be expected to work cross-functionally with other departments within Fleet Technical Management to ensure that all maintenance programs are fully integrated with company operating policies and technical procedures.

This will involve establishing and developing working relationships with Fleet Engineers in various areas such as Airframe, Avionics, Cabin Systems, Components, and Reliability.

You will also liaise with system and equipment manufacturers to ensure that aircraft systems and equipment remain airworthy, reliable, and available.


Overall, your role as the Principal Maintenance Programmes Engineer will be critical to ensuring that easyJet's aircraft remain safe, reliable, and available for operation.

You will work closely with other teams within Fleet Technical Management to ensure that maintenance programs are fully integrated and aligned with company policies and procedures, while also meeting regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Location & Hours of Work


This full-time permanent role will be based at Hangar 89, London Luton Airport, and will be 40 hours per week.
