Due to an internal promotion (which shows that we are serious about supporting careers) we need you to join the team. You will be involved in projects spanning the whole organisation with access to tangible opportunities for growth and career development.
AQA is much more than just an awarding organisation. Our purpose is to advance education by enabling teachers and students to realise their potential, with your project management or process improvement knowledge you'll have autonomy to focus on delivering high profile projects that really make a difference to teachers and students.
As the Product Management Performance and Planning Lead you'll organise and report on the Product Management programme of work. You'll work within the Product Management team and with other planning and project management colleagues across the business, building collaboration between teams. You'll develop and manage the roadmap of key Product Management activities and drive the delivery of innovative, commercially focused projects that meet, and beat, our targets. You'll have a key role in mitigating risks of delivery and to be the objective voice ensuring our planning processes and outputs enable excellent project delivery.
Joining the Product Management team means becoming a part of a team of commercial champions who define the strategic direction of our products for AQA. Your work will help drive the projects which improve our product offer for our customers and differentiate us as an awarding organisation.
What's in it for you?
What you'll do
Having planned and used creative problem solving solutions in a multiple and conflicting prioritisation environment in the past will stand you in good stead, as will a good knowledge of systems and tools. Experience with Airtable and/or Projects would be beneficial.
