Job Purpose:


The Cleaning Operative is responsible for the efficient removal of card, plastics and general waste from the warehouse and the operation of the compactor and porta-packer.

In addition, internal cleaning of the facility is required including use of ride-on floor scrubbers and industrial vacuum cleaners. Any other cleaning tasks including clean-up of spillages and external cleaning including smoke shelter will be as required.

Key Accountabilities


Operating Standards:

  • To achieve the agreed productivity level.
  • To keep the cleaning records up to date.
  • Responsible for ensuring cleaning standards are met
  • To comply with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Must respond quickly to any calls for spillages, etc
  • Any other task requested by management
