- Conducting legal analysis of issues and proposed transactions.
- Offering legal advice and assessment on derivative transactions, including credit linked derivatives, structured repo transactions, stock lending, and prime brokerage.
- Handling matters related to powers of attorney, non-disclosure agreements, and security arrangements.
- Managing the closure of transactions in case of default, and overseeing the insolvency claim process.
- Assessing documentation for legal risks associated with proposed transactions.
- Participating in negotiations with counterparties to finalize documentation.
- Providing instructions to and coordinating external legal counsel.
- Supervising litigation processes when required.
