Right now, the charity are recruiting for a Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) Accreditation Co-ordinator to join them.

This is a full time, permanent position (Initial funding for 3 years) and offers a salary of £28,339.


The role will work with the District Councils to achieve the DAHA accreditation for all 4 districts and implement the whole housing approach within each district.

The post holder will ensure delivery of excellent standards in service provision for women, teenagers and children affected by domestic violence and abuse.


Here in the UK 1 in 3 women will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime and this charity supports those women and children in Nottingham experiencing or escaping it.


They are an ambitious and resourceful charity, passionate about helping women and their children move forward to live their lives free from abuse.

In a year, they answer around 10,000 calls on their helpline, support over 6,000 women and 260 children.


The role:


As a DAHA Accreditation Co-ordinator, you will be supporting the local authority housing departments in gaining the DAHA accreditation, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and that local authority managers and staff understand the requirements of the accreditation.


An enhanced DBS along with a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle which is insured for business use is essential for this role.
