12-month Fixed Term Contract | £45,000 - £60,000 | UK hybrid working
Our client is delivering data-driven transformation across the organisation and are expanding their in-house Machine Learning team.

As our client provides a service used my millions of customers every year, the projects delivered by this team will have realimpact - meeting business needs, generating revenue, and most importantly improving the customer journey.

As our client is continuing their journey of creating a machine learning function that delivers value to the organisation, they are looking for a proven Product Manager who will be able to hit the ground running.

Please note this is an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract and will be hybrid working, our client has sites including London and York.

You'll develop a portfolio of opportunities to prove the benefit of machine learning, by partnering with business areas across the organisation to understand their challenges.

Helping stakeholders in those business areas to appreciate how a data-driven approach,and machine learning, could benefit them and their customers will be key.

You'll then product manage these opportunities from ideation to proof of concept. It's a fast-paced environment where you'll experiment with creative solutions to business and customerchallenges.

There will be significant stakeholder management across the organization, so communication and collaborative working are instrumental to the success of this role.

Responsibilities are likely to include:

Scout and identify opportunities across the business for machine learning value, practicality, feasibility and business appetite.
Manage the product lifecycle of projects from ideation to proof of concept and production. Proving business value through measurable results and benefit realisation.
Promote the importance of machine learning governance to build trust, transparency and a strong reputation for the use of machine learning.
Support the development of the data strategy with team development, project road mapping and horizon scanning.
Implement the business engagement strategy to encourage a data driven culture and keep key stakeholders involved in the data science journey.

Our Client Is Looking For

Product Management experience is essential, ideally gained in a digital/data/systems environment.
Project management and business analysis/requirements gathering skills are essential.
Proven ability to take products from ideation to launch and ongoing maintenance.
Welldeveloped communication skills and stakeholder management.
An understanding of data science and machine learning principles would be advantageous.
