Hours or Work: 37 1⁄2 hours per week

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and organised Team Administrator to join the PROSPER Service.

PROSPER is a community based intensive intervention and risk management service (IIRMS) for high-risk adult men and women under the supervision of the Probation service, who are likely to have personality disorder.

The service is a partnership between BSMHFT and the Probation Service. It is a hub-and-spoke service with its hub in Birmingham and the spokes in the wider West Midlands region.

Working as one of two administrators within a multidisciplinary team, you will need excellent organisational, communication and IT skills. You will need to meet deadlines, collate data and maintain standards relating to administrative processes.

The ability to work under pressure will be essential and you must have the ability to manage your time effectively in order to meet the needs of the service.

You will need to work across both NHS and Probation systems with a knowledge of the processes within both organisations.

A thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and experience of working in a busy office environment is essential.

You will also be expected to cover reception duties when required and therefore some experience of working in a compassionate and inclusive way with service users with complex and challenging presentations may be beneficial.


The successful applicant with have an NVQ Level III in Business Admin or equivalent plus relevant experience of working in an administrative role.
