VACANCY - CUSTOMER SERVICE COORDINATOR (WE ARE SEEKING TO HIRE TWO PEOPLE)

SALARY - Basic £25000 with potential individual and company performance incentives

HOURS - Mon - Thur pm and Friday finishing at 1.30pm

LOCATION - HILLINGTON, GLASGOW

OVERVIEW

Large, very well established Manufacturing company with a Global presence are expanding their Customer Service Team with the addition of TWO Customer Service Coordinators.


POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Customer Service Coordinators prepare quotation proposals and review customer orders for acceptance.
Coordinate technical and commercial requirements.
Provide support and back up to field sales and customers, on product needs.
Be the first point of contact for territory sales representative.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the processing, resolution and expediting of orders
  • Provides into stock price and availability
  • Utilizes SAP
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve best in class customer service
  • Handles queries, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up in a timely manner
  • Interact with Sales, Marketing, Technical Services, Quality, Pricing and Finance to identify and solve customer request and issues
  • High contributor to inbound phone calls and multimedia request
  • Assigned to special projects as needed
  • Coordinate the creation of bespoke part codes
  • Build technical knowledge for all brands
  • Takes ownership of personal development
Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years in a customer service role (IF you come from a Manufacturing, Technical or Engineering background this would be a huge advantage).
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Must be able to effectively interpret and communicate information from ERP system.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Workflow management
