Trainee Accountant | North Shropshire | Permanent | £22,000pa-£26,000pa dependent on experience

Seymour John is delighted to be working with a highly profitable FMCG company based in North Shropshire who have an exceptional opportunity for a Trainee Accountant.

Working within the fast-paced finance function for a £350m turnover organization you will build upon your current accounting skills and have a structured career path ahead of you, which could include studying for a professional qualification.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Accountant, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of ledger maintenance and, as your experience grows take on further tasks.

You will act as a Business Partner with other divisions of the company which will allow you to gain an excellent insight into the operations of a large organization.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

Purchase ledger.
Assisting with Profit and Loss analysis.
Fixed asset register maintenance.
Intercompany transactions

The Person

At least 6 months finance experience.
Keen to learn.
Excellent communication skills.
A good team player who is always happy to help.
Good standard of education.
