    Description

    Job Title: Metrology / Quality Technician at EMBS Engineering

    Thanks to a restructuring in the department, there's an opening for a Metrology / Quality Technician to join the team of skilled engineers and further enhance their career.

    This position will mainly involve supporting the quality department with internal part inspection activities. Responsibilities include preparing and documenting inspection reports in compliance with company standards and performing manual component inspections.

    This role is suitable for recent apprenticeship graduates in engineering, individuals with some quality experience aiming to progress in a forward-thinking company, or those with 2-4 years of experience as a Metrology / Quality Technician / Inspector looking for a new challenge.

    Your duties will involve:

    • Utilizing manual measuring tools
    • Operating CMM machines
    • Documenting part non-conformances
    • Maintaining precise quality records

    Applicants should showcase:

    • At least 2 years experience in precision engineering
    • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings
    • Experience working with various materials like aluminium, steel, castings, and cast iron
    • Capability in manual part measurement using tools such as shadowgraphs, verniers, micrometres, etc.
