A fantastic role has become available with an exciting hospitality business based in London.


Its purpose is to make London smile while providing customers with its delicious high quality bakery selection and traditional afternoon teas in a variety of locations and experiences.

The company is now looking to add to their team by taking on a Cleaner Assistant.

Overview

Brigit's Bakery is a London based award-winning specialist provider of Afternoon Tea Experiences.
Founded in 2010, the company has quickly established itself as one of London's best handmade afternoon tea providers.


Brigit's is extremely proud of the service standards and quality of baking provided in its cozy Tea Salon in the heart of Covent Garden, on-board the hugely popular traditional red double decker Routemaster Afternoon Tea Bus Tours, the now famous Peppa Pig Afternoon Tea Bus Tours and on board our Thames River Cruise.

The Role


We are searching for a Cleaner Assistant to join our busy team who will play a vital role in the smooth running of our day-to-day business.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain high levels of personal hygiene and immaculate presentation
  • Work well within the team, communicating effectively with all necessary team members to ensure guests receive the highest level of products and service within good time and to ensure all preparation, closing down, and other associated tasks are completed effectively and efficiently
  • Respond to the dynamics of the service environment, being proactive at quiet times whilst anticipating and meeting the needs of the fast pace restaurant environment
  • Keep the kitchen area tidy and clean using the "clean as you go" approach to be more effective and efficient
  • Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
  • To ensure that all equipment used is cleaned regularly, maintained in a safe condition and stored correctly in designated areas after each session of work.
  • Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
  • Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
  • Clean food preparation and production areas as required
  • Notify management of deficiencies or repairs required
  • Any other reasonable duties requested by your line manager

Salary:
£10.00-£12.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • London, WC2N 4HU: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
