Mandarin speaking Receptionist
The Skills You'll Need:
Excellent level of Mandarin and fluent English; Relevant Receptionist / Admin experience in the UK and willing to work 5 days in the office
Your New Salary:
£30-33k depending on experience

Central London

Temporary (Possible to transfer to Fixed-term Contract / Permanent)
Report to:
Office Service Manager and Head of Department
What You'll be Doing Each Day:
- Using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases;
- Welcoming guests in a professional manner including delegations and VIP visitors;
- Contacting hosts and advising of guests arrival and escorting the guests to meeting rooms when required;
- Operating the main switchboard and answering external and internal calls in a polite and confident manner;
- Booking lunches for meetings;
- Devising and maintaining office systems, booking rooms and conference facilities;
- Liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts;
- Ordering and maintaining stationery and equipment supplies;
- Sorting and distributing incoming post and organising and sending outgoing post;
- Covering the travel administrator, including coordinating the travel approval process, booking flights, hotels, cars and drivers when needed;
- Organising and storing paperwork, documents and computerbased information;
- Helping staff with issues associated with the facilities by working with other service providers such as cleaners, maintenance and security.
- Translation of documents from Mandarin to English.
The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
- Excellent level of Mandarin and fluent English in speaking and writing
- Working experience in Receptionist or Office Admin from a corporate environment in the UK
- Degree in Management/ Business Studies or equivalent
- Willing to work 5 days in the office
- Methodical and organised
- Polite and courteous
- Good at juggling tasks, prioritising and reacting to and resolving problems
- A good team player
- Computer literacy and good typing skills
- A good level of English spelling and grammar
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Shows initiative
- Desire to deliver a high quality service
