An exciting opportunity to join our busy office in the Stockholding Industry has arose, based within Glasgow, just opposite the Glasgow fort, you will support the Sales Team in the day to day running of the office, advising, and taking orders from customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a small but growing team of 10 You will begin understanding the separate parts of the organisation - predominantly working within an admin and systems based role, in time you can expect to be a valued part of our sales team.

You will be fully trained on our diverse range of company products and custom computer system.

Along side this, you will have the opportunity to work with QA in achieving your Digital Applications Support SCQF6 Apprenticeship, in time becoming more proficient in your day role at Richard Austin Alloys.

Key Responsibilities:

Take customer orders via telephone and share/store via outlook
Organise deliveries with different parts of the organisation as per customer requirements, liaising with our Transport and Warehouse Teams
Updating bespoke software systems
Use internal calendars and spreadsheets to store customer data and book deliveries
Assist Sales Managers with quotes and general admin
Upsell / Crosssell our products where appropriate and promote other areas of the business
