We have exciting opportunities available for experienced MRI physicists / engineers to engage in cutting-edge respiratory magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) research at the POLARIS Research Group at the University of Sheffield.


You will be able to contribute to the supervision of PhD and undergraduate students in the research group and actively participate in ongoing international collaborations with other academic, clinical and industrial research partners.

In this flexible and dynamic role, you will generate highly impactful research at the interface between research and clinical translation.

In addition to publishing high-impact papers as one of the main authors, you will contribute to MR imaging strategy in the Department of Infection, Immunity & Cardiovascular DIsease for further translational research.

A proven track record of high-quality scientific publications and demonstrated evidence in working in a multi-disciplinary team is essential. Previous experience in assisting the supervision of PhD students and technical staff is desirable.
