JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Junior HR Advisor who has some commercial experience working within Human Resources and has knowledge of HR systems.
Working as the Junior HR Advisor you will be the first point of contact for general human resources advice to employees and managers on policies and procedures.
As the Junior HR Advisor you will also administratively support the People Team covering the whole employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, reviews, training, leavers process and ensure the People Team provide an excellent service to their internal and external customers.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Junior HR Advisor include:
Advise managers and employees on procedures and processes
Carry out flexible working request, maternity review meetings with employees.
Coordinating the company new starter and leaver processes, including letters and contracts of employment, ensuring that the correct paperwork is provided and received, conducting right to work checks, onboarding activities, and obtaining references.
Own probationary process advising managers how to carry our reviews and ensuring documentation is complete
Creating, developing and improving standard letters, processes, procedures and ensuring SharePoint site is kept up to date
Coordinate training courses; help to identify suitable providers, book the courses and ensure accurate records are kept
Support People Business Partners and the wider People Team on project work, and act as a project team member on occasion and as needed for UK, Alphagary Global and Orbia projects, within and outside of the People function
Arrange, attend and take minutes at meetings as and when required, and attend as the People Team representative
Compile the ad hoc reports for the People Team and analyse data
Manage all aspects of the People Team invoice processing, via SAP, to ensure timely payment and accurate financial data
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Some previous experience working within a Human Resources / People Team
Knowledge of HR Systems
Strong IT skills, in particular MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power BI)
Up to date knowledge and understanding of HR practices
Knowledge of employee lifecycle
CIPD Level 3 or working towards a CIPD qualification would be advantageous
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organised and ability to prioritise a varied workload
Accuracy/attention to detail
Have a flexible, team working attitude can work alone or as part of a team
