    Description

    Job Title: Experienced Paraplanner

    Company: Highly Regarded Financial Planning Firm

    Location: City of London

    Salary: Up to £65,000

    Hybrid working available: 2 days from home each week

    We are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join a well-respected financial planning firm. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting a senior adviser and clients in goal-based financial planning. Your responsibilities will include detailed technical analysis, product research, and drafting recommendation letters.

    Core key responsibilities:

    • Key cash flow modelling plans ahead of client meetings
    • Discuss client objectives with the Adviser
    • Identify planning areas and solutions for client needs
    • Allocate assets for an appropriate investment strategy
    • Research and identify suitable solutions for clients
    • Draft recommendation letters and accompanying documentation
    • Communicate with product providers and third parties
    • Accurately record data within our CRM system
    • Maintain clear records of client communications
    • Handle client queries professionally
    • Provide administrative support and assist in new business processing

    Key attributes required for the role:

    • Level 4 qualified in Financial Planning
    • Commitment to continuous personal development
    • Detailed knowledge of investment planning
    • Experience with financial planning principles
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
    • Experience with FE Analytics and Voyant (desirable)
    • Desire to provide high-quality advice and service
    • Ability to work independently and in a team
    • Personable approach and strong communication skills
    • Experience with Salesforce (desirable)
