SWL Security services are looking for a full time BID Ranger to support a multitude of retail and hospitality sites in Dorset for a local Business Improvement District (BID) on a 40hrs a week day-time contract.


This is an exciting opportunity to work with an SIA Approved Contractor in a specialist role bridging the gap between businesses, communities and the Police.

Your role will include visiting businesses and organisations within the BID area and assisting them in dealing with low level volume crime on their behalf.


As an SWL Ranger you'll work in partnership with the communities you serve to maintain law and order, protect members of the public and their property, prevent crime, reduce the fear of crime and improve the quality of the public's experience when visiting the area.

You'll use a range of technology to protect businesses, identify the perpetrators of crime and ensure successful prosecutions against those who break the law.

Role specific training is provided by SWL security services, full induction training includes Law familiarization classes, control & restraint and handcuff training that exceeds the industry standard.


Job Type:
PAYE 40hrs per week


Salary:
£20 - £25K per year dependent on experience (TBD)

  • SIA qualification
  • Evidence of working in a confidential and secure working environment
  • Experience in conflict resolution and/or negotiation
