Description

We are a flight case company based in Rainham, Essex. We build a variety of cases like road trunks, racks, briefcases etc) out of plywood and wood with all sorts of hardware handles, corners, catches etc) that are used in a in many industries such as broadcasting, audio visual, lighting, exhibitions, entertainment, and many others.

The duties of
CNC operator includes:

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and design models
Inputting the product design into the computer modelling software
Choosing and loading the correct tools for the job
Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications
Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process
Loading raw materials into the
CNC machine, The job although
CNC based is quite physical as it requires moving large panels of plywood on & off the machine, also includes all other steps to be completed at table handsaw, rebating machines, sanding etc to provide ply wood panels ready for next step in production line (training will be provided)
Cleaning and maintaining the machines
Previous
CNC machine operation or programming (flat bed
CNC woodworking)
Experience in interpreting technical drawings
General computer skills
Some AutoCAD experience or any other CAD, CAM programes
Strong attention to detail
Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logístical problems
Ability to work independently and closely follow directions
A positive and professional attitude

Flexible and reliable

Being able to work to deadlines and resolve problems

The above skills or experience are an advantage, though extensive training and support will be given.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
