    Job Title: Housekeeper/Cleaner

    Salary: £23,400 (pro rata for part-time) plus enhancements for unsocial hours

    Team: Soft Services

    Hours: 37.5 across 5/7 days a week including Bank Hols

Our dedicated staff ensures that every family can cherish meaningful moments and receive exceptional care.

    Now is an excellent time to become part of Shooting Star Children's Hospices, following our recent expansion of services to support families who have lost a child in Surrey and West London.

    About the Role

    You will join a team of five Housekeepers responsible for maintaining the hospice's cleanliness daily, under the Soft Services Manager's guidance.

    As a hospice housekeeper, your responsibilities will include working closely with staff, volunteers, and families to ensure a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with regulations throughout the hospice.

    About You

    The ideal candidate will have prior housekeeping experience and a basic understanding of housekeeping tasks. Experience in healthcare/hospice/palliative care settings is advantageous. Strong independent work skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills for interactions with supported children and families are essential.
