    The Head of Presales Consultancy is there to provide leadership to the Presales Consultancy and Service Architecture team, which has a key role in driving growth in Capita Public Services, supporting our sales teams in leading the development of compelling, innovative, cost competitive and repeatable proposals that leverage Capita's capability, providing input and support to broader opportunities.

    The Head of Presales Consultancy will lead by example in a customer facing role, providing leadership and ensuring delivery across a focused presales team to deliver quality customer focused solutions that beat our competition and exceed our customers' expectations.

    For this role, you will need to be flexible, able to travel, and stay away from home when required.


    Head of Presales Consultancy Job Description:

    directly manage the presales team, ensuring performance and quality align with growth goals, meeting timescales, and completing pricing and technical designs.

    primarily deliver net new external business for CPS, while also considering major internal Capita opportunities.
    lead bids as a solution and service architect, assuring proposal quality for all formal bids.
    champion service management processes within Capita IT Services, aligned with ITIL frameworks and ISO2000.
    be able to evidence experience of defining and delivering multi-technology, innovative, cost competitive and repeatable solutions, ensuring solutions comply with security and data protection requirements
    strong understanding of Capita service delivery and support, along with demonstrable knowledge of the ITIL framework, acting as 'Subject Matter Expert' for the IT business
    ITIL Foundation or ITIL v3/v4 Expert and ISO/IEC 20000 consultant qualifications as well as leadership and Management certifications, such as ILM are desirable
    The team manages Capita Key Accounts and is developing our strategy for investing in client value propositions.
