Job description


To develop and provide skills training and activities for learners on Jobs Growth Wales Plus programmes to address their learning barriers (youth provision).

To provide innovative and individualised sessions with dyanamic delivery to those with specific additional learning ranging from anxiety, autsim, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and beahviours.

The aim is to equip young people with the necessary skills, attitudes, and confidence to attend supported work placements.


Key duties and responsibilities

  • To organise meaningful training and activities for ALN learners, including trips and activities.
  • To deliver sessions that provide evidence towards employability and personal development, underpinning relevant qualifications highlighted in their referrals and/or IDP from schools.
  • To liaise with Careers Wales, including other referral support agencies and schools in order to promote
    INSPIRE Training's services and maintain good working relationships to ensure we cater for learners' needs effectively.
  • To meet with prospective learners with information on
    INSPIRE Training's programmes and services and assist in promoting and marketing learning programmes to employers and learners.
  • To carry out meaningful interviews, inductions, initial assessments and reviews on learners to measure progress and identify actions and training needs.
  • To provide mentoring support to learners on all routes, and to offer training, advice and guidance to staff with regards to best practise to support learners with identified ALN.
  • To try to ensure positive progressions for learners leaving
    INSPIRE Training into employment, apprenticeships and/or higher levels of learning.
  • To carry out any related administrative duties required enabling the smooth running of the JGW+ Programmes liaising with all routes and administrative department i.e. 4 weekly reviews and updating individual learning plans.
  • To adhere to and promote
    INSPIRE Training's practices and policies.
  • Any other duties as requested by your Manager, which may be necessary from time to time.

  • To develop yourself by attending courses, meetings, training events, workshops and seminars, in order to not only develop yourself but also the company.
  • To demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills including report writing skills.
  • To be highly selfmotivated and organised.
  • To ensure effective learner care skills.
  • A recognition and regard for observing confidentiality.
  • The capacity to work as part of a team.
  • An ability to work on own initiative and meet set timescales.
  • General housekeeping duties.
  • To display

£25,500.00-£27,000.00 per year
