Polypipe Building Products are focused on delivering solutions to the residential sector. Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a UFH (Under Floor Heating) Estimator to join our company.


Role:

The Technical Team at Building Products are responsible for designing, quoting and supporting all of the product ranges at Building Products.

The role will allow you to learn new skills in Computer Aided Design and develop skills in technical support. We use the latest technology to meet our growing customer needs


Responsibilities:


  • Using plans & drawings for the estimation of our underfloor heating product range.
  • Producing detailed piping layouts using our bespoke software
  • Offering Technical support on the UFH Product range
  • Following up quotes to ensure the customer understands the quote supplied
  • Working effectively with other team members including the external sales teams
  • Deal with customer specific requests in order to ensure an accurate Estimate is produced
  • Ensure procedures are being adhered to within the department

Requirements:


  • Motivated, Dedicated and Hardworking
  • Previous experience of UFH design (preferred)
  • 5+ GCSE'S including(A-C), Maths, English Science or equivalent
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills

Hours of work:
Working hours will be 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

  • Plan and Drawings: 1 year (preferred)
  • Estimating: 1 year (preferred)
