Job description - SDR Team Lead

In this SDR Team Lead role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers during their initial contact with the organisation.

This role is focused on inbound sales leads and enquiries; however, you will be responsible for managing your own sales pipeline and reaching out to customers on a regular basis to ensure completion.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your commercial experience within an exciting FinTech company - so you will need to be a self-starter who is motivated to learn, take on feedback proactively, and show resilience to navigate challenges.


Key responsibilities - SDR Team Lead
In this SDR Team Lead opportunity in London, your responsibilities will include:

  • Act as a role model and assist in leading the sales team by example
  • Run the daily stand up and make sure the Sales Executives are accountable for their commitments
  • Help drive KPI performance for the team
  • Help to maintain quality controls within the sales team to mitigate risk to Liberis
  • Build good rapport with Funding, Underwriting and Finance teams to ensure optimal working relationships and efficiency
  • Liaise with Senior Sales Manager to enhance and grow business function
  • Play a key role in driving sales volumes through conducting high volume engaging and informative inbound
and outbound calls to new and existing customers

  • Convert leads in the customers and ensure that no customer falls through the gaps if we can't get hold of
are delivering a consistently excellent customer service, we ensure all our Sales Agents are aligned to this
approach. That said, we still want you to be able to be yourself and we appreciate there are always better
ways to work and no better than a fresh pair of eyes to suggest these improvements, so we are always open to feedback and would empower you to suggest more suitable approaches

  • Be able to confidently handle objections and challenges with positivity and resilience.
  • Meet or exceed KPI targets this wouldn't be a Sales role without KPI's and we are looking for someone who is really selfmotivated with a strong desire to succeed. Whilst our KPI's are realistic and achievable, we of course want you to smash them and have a really generous commission structure in place to encourage you to do so
  • Be excellent with time management and able to really maximise the time you spend on the phone to
customers.

  • Be a people person Customers are everything so you'll need to genuinely care and ensure you are building, and maintaining, really strong relationships with our customers whilst helping them to achieve their dreams by showing them how our funding solutions can work

Job requirements - SDR Team Lead
For this SDR Team Lead role, you will need:

  • You have the drive, desire and proven ability to work hard daily with minimum direct supervision
  • You have previous success in the following areas:
  • High volume of daily B2C sales
  • High volume of outbound calls
  • Understanding of consumer lending or acquiring products (this isn't essential but would be helpful)
  • Using an established sales process
  • Development of own sales skill and ability
  • Ability to close deals against objections
  • Managing own fast cycle sales pipeline in CRM
  • Consistency as a top sales producer in a sales team
  • Consistency as a top performer against sales team KPI metrics
  • You embrace change and are always looking for ways to use to your own and the teams advantage
  • You have a natural ability to influence and think of creative solutions to overcome challenging customer expectations and objections
  • You are infectiously positive: not everyday is easy
  • You are a people person: you loves being around people and helping others
  • You are a genuinely good listener: you loves finding out about other people and how you can help them.
