A PretBarista works as part of a team in aPret shop to ensure all Barista prepared drinks are served to therequired Pret standard.

The Barista role ensuresexcellent Barista prepared drinks quality knowledge understandingand amazing service with Pret Buzz. The Barista ensures efficientback counter operation cleanliness maintenance and team training.The role guarantees that customers always receive the drink theyexpect.

The Barista is an integral part of theshop team and will be expected to carry out Team Member Star dutiesas appropriate to businessneeds.

RightPret People: Barista Prepared DrinkTraining

To coach andtrain Team Member Star Coffee and Baristas in Training on BaristaPrepared Drinks and standards.
To liaise withthe TMT to ensure all Barista prepared drink training is plannedand carried out as appropriate.
To carry outCoffee team briefs and attend any relevant meetings courses andconferences relating to Barista Prepared Drinks whenappropriate.
To ensure all hot drink trainingmaterial is available and up to date.
To followPrets dress code and be immaculately presented always wearing thecorrect Baristauniform.

AmazingService: Creating PretBuzz

To positivelyengage with customers and the team about Prets Coffee Story andCoffee Menu to ensure Pret Buzz.
To call downthe queue to bust queues.
To serve BaristaPrepared Drinks within a reasonable time.
Toensure coffee calling is clear appropriate and consistent to thecustomers and team.
To wow customers with latteart

Delicious Food& Drink: Excellent Barista Prepared Drinks quality& knowledge

Tomake all Barista Prepared Drinks to Pretstandards.
To role model Coffee knowledge andto maintain an understanding about Prets Barista Prepared Drinksand standards.
To be able to communicate withconfidence key messages about Prets Barista Prepared Drinks andstandards.
To maintain milk quality and Coffeequality through tasting and weighing relevant Barista PreparedDrinks.
To be responsible for the results ofCoffee Confidence visits and the coffee sections of the MysteryShopper and 3D Review.
To role model Baristaprepared drink standard updates and new productlaunches.
To report any Barista prepared drinkingredient quality issues to your Manager.
Torole model an understanding of Barista Prepared Drinks in otherretailers to be familiar with the different productnames.

To maintainthe Barista Prepared Drinks equipment Barista box and daily& weekly checks to Pret standards.
Toview the Barista Prepared Drinks counter through a customers eyesand clean as you go
To role model the 5 pointcheck to ensure you are set for success.
Tocarry out log checks thermometer calibrations and dribble tests inline with Pret standards.
To role model allaspects of health & safety in accordance with the law andPret standards.
To role model aspects of foodsafety in accordance with the law and Pretstandards.
I am responsible for ensuring Ifollow Food Safety Standards; and for the Health and Safety ofmyself my team and customers. I complete all training to enable meto understand the Pret standards and safety processes I mustfollow. I
