Active Staff are excited to be recruiting Warehouse Operatives for a large supermarket distribution centre based in Avonmouth, Bristol.

You will be working 5 out of 7 days.

14.00pm pm

£13.14 per hour


About the Role:
Due to the nature of the role, you will be working in a chilled environment.

Therefore, warm clothing is required to accommodate these temperatures.

The job role will begin firstly with Picking and Packing, however, in house training on LLOPs will be given.

You may also be required to help with loading and unloading of lorries.


Responsibilities:


  • Loading and Unloading Lorries
  • Picking and Packing
  • Keeping to time scales and picking targets
  • Working within a team
  • Use of LLOP (training provided)
  • Ensuring safe use of machines and equipment
  • Adhering to Health and Safety regulations
  • Keeping the Warehouse tidy and hazard free
  • Some heavy lifting may be required

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be motivated, reliable, and eager to learn. Excellent reading, writing and verbal communication skills are needed.

You will go above and beyond expectations, using your amazing attention to detail to exceed timescales and targets.


The ability to work in a busy warehouse environment and be a team player are key elements for this role.
