Planner - Birmingham, United Kingdom - Very Important Personnel
Description
A competitive starting salary of £28,000 will be offered, with the opportunity to develop the role.
- Organise labour, plant and materials.
- Source, plan and manage subcontractors.
- Negotiate pricing of plant and materials.
- Prepare prestart documents including RAMS, CPP, Health & Safety plans etc.
- Support contracts managers with works planning requirements.
- Report on weekly progress of jobs.
- Download HGV activity records and defect reports.
- Complete PQQS.
- Update systems with new enquiries and maintain accurate related records on CRM database.
- Update client portals and respond to client information requests.
- Support with accreditation renewals.
- Good all round planning and administration experience.
- Experience within a construction/ maintenance/ engineering/ facilities management or related environment would be advantageous.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent IT skills to include Microsoft Excel. Spreadsheet knowledge essential.
- Knowledge or experience with Bids / Tenders / PPQ's (desirable.)
- Administration background with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work using own initiative.
