    Description
    Job Title: Vehicle Paint Sprayer.Location: Totton, Southampton, SO40 3WX.Salary: Up to £18 per hour equates to £39,780 (must be level 3 qualified painter for this salary / hour rate) + uncapped bonus – OTE 45-50k.Full-Time and Permanent.Monday to Friday – 42.5 hours a week with optional overtime available on a Saturday.
    Our client is an automotive retailer representing prestigious car Brands, they have a total of 30 businesses providing sales, service, and accident repair services across Sussex, Surrey, Kent, and Hampshire.
    Established in 1931, they are a successful and progressive third-generation family-owned business.
    They are now actively looking to recruit a Vehicle Paint Sprayer for their Accident Repair Centre in Totton, Southampton.
    About the Job:As a Painter/prepper, you will be responsible for:
    • Running our spray booth.
    • Checking that the vehicle has been masked and prepared to the required standard.
    • Mixing and matching colours.
    • Checking the painted job is acceptable to refit.
    • You will carry out repairs to the BSI PAS 10125 standards.

    You must be able to:
    • Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed timescales.
    • Work skillfully and safely under pressure.
    • Carry out work in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
    • Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
    • Be flexible in your approach.
    • Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
    • You will ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines; for example, wearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping all work areas clean and tidy.
    • Ideal candidates will be Level 3 qualified in Vehicle Paint Spraying.
    • Candidates must have a full and valid driving license.
