About Our Client:

Our client is an NHS organisation in Leeds.

Duties of the HR Advisor will be to:

Provide advice and guidance to managers and staff in accordance with trust procedures, legislation and best practice including:
Terms and conditions of employment
Attendance Management
Capability / Performance
Disciplinary, Grievance, Bullying & Harassment
Agenda for Change Job Evaluation
Management Of Change / Service Redesign
Other HR Procedures
Manage a caseload as delegated by the HR Manager
Support investigating officers in disciplinary and grievance investigations, including support at meetings as required and in the preparation and content of investigation reports and cases presented to panels, attending investigatory meetings as required
Advise managers on courses of action and possible implications; support managers in deciding the most appropriate course of action, seeking guidance from the HR Manager where issues are complex

The Successful Applicant:

HR Advisor, HR Officer or HR Generalist experience
Experience of supporting organizational change
Experience of supporting managers with ER issues / cases, eg disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management
Experience of advising managers on a broad range of HR issues
Knowledge of basic employment law, best practice, ACAS codes of practice
Knowledge of a range of HR practices/ procedures
Understanding and using workforce metrics
Knowledge of workforce planning tools and techniques
The ability to work from Leeds 2 days per week
