Rutherford Briant are recruiting for a Management Accountant for a highly successful well known business based in Basildon.


This is a well-known construction business who have entities across the UK and are expected to take on numerous sites across 2023.


They are offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000, hybrid working, the chance to work within a larger team and lead various projects including a system implementation.

Key Duties include:_

  • Responsible for completing all monthend processes, providing support to Financial Controller providing detailed management analysis
  • Leading various projects surrounding process improvements and the management accounts
  • Partnering with numerous department heads and educating them on their P&Ls
  • Reviewing financial results for several operations and presenting finding to the wider business
  • Identifying key process improvements both internally and externally
  • Assisting with the core integration of acquisitions
  • Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes while assisting with auditor queries
  • Ownership of various balance sheets and reconciling monthly
  • Working with senior stakeholders to identify costs, profits and budget variances
  • Preparation of the Management Accounts including analysis monthly
