    Description

    A global specialist in the design and manufacture of high-temperature metal seals for aerospace, automotive and power generation sectors are seeking a Quality Manager to join their team to drive the next phase of development and growth.

    As Quality Manager, you will lead the Quality team, ensuring existing and new products and processes comply with Customer, ISO/AS/IATF and NADCAP standards. As primary Quality contact liaising with internal and external stakeholders and driving the development of quality systems and processes in a high-compliance engineering and production environment, you will need to be hands-on, technical, detail oriented and a great team-worker.

    Role:

    • Lead quality team in ensuring product and process compliance and customer engagement
    • Maintain, develop, audit and champion the Quality Management Systems and processes
    • Act as primary Quality liaison with Customers, Auditors and other relevant stakeholders
    • Drive quality strategy & develop staff, support production, engineering and sales functions

    To be successful in this role you will have proven skills and experience in the following:

    • Proven leadership and management of quality teams
    • Ensuring quality requirements in high compliance production environments

    To be considered for the role you should ideally have experience in:

    • ISO9001, AS9100, IATF16949 Quality Management Systems
    • Aerospace and Automotive Customer QM Systems and engagement
    • Part and process approval (FAIR, PPAP)
    • NADCAP certification, heat treatment and/or coating processes
    • Precision measurement, calibration, quality documentation
    • Precision metal forming/fabrication
    • New product introduction, process improvement, root cause investigation
    • Risk tools (FMEA), statistical tools (SPC/MSA), data analysis
