£22,550 plus bonus

This role offers an excellent opportunity for you to join a company that is forward thinking and focused on its people.

This vacancy is due to expansion as they have gained many new customer's during the pandemic. You will be working in a team of 4, reportingto the Purchasing Manager.


Duties and responsibilities for the Purchasing Administrator role includes:

  • You will provide support to the purchasing team in sourcing of new products
  • Obtaining supplier support & favourable costs for tenders
  • Working with sales & technical departments
  • Updating supplier matrix, ensuring accuracy
  • To create & develop supplier relationships
  • General administration support to the purchasing team
  • Chase supplier artwork and drawings, keeping the system up to date
  • Ensure costings are checked and accurate

Skills and experience required for the Purchasing Administrator role:

  • Previous administration experience is essential
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Numerate
  • Quick to learn
