Duties and responsibilities for the Purchasing Administrator role includes:
- You will provide support to the purchasing team in sourcing of new products
- Obtaining supplier support & favourable costs for tenders
- Working with sales & technical departments
- Updating supplier matrix, ensuring accuracy
- To create & develop supplier relationships
- General administration support to the purchasing team
- Chase supplier artwork and drawings, keeping the system up to date
- Ensure costings are checked and accurate
Skills and experience required for the Purchasing Administrator role:
- Previous administration experience is essential
- Strong communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Numerate
- Quick to learn
