Lettings Negotiator - Newcastle - Up to £24,000 + Commission


This is a truly amazing opportunity for a Lettings Negotiator to join one of the most exciting and forward thinking companies within the property sector.

Specializing in Build to Rent with a constant cycle of apartments for you to work on

As a Lettings Negotiator you will play an integral part in the occupancy levels of the building.

You will be responsible for the day to day letting and works associated with that, whilst always delivering the highest level of customer service.

Our client is a dynamic property management company managing a diverse portfolio of mixed use, commercial and residential properties.


What you will be doing

  • Ensuring total compliance on Lettings processes
  • Uploading property details and property portal adverts
  • Releasing properties to market upon instruction from Centre Manager
  • Confirming viewings diary
  • Daily reporting
  • Qualification of viewers/applicants in line with business rules
  • Conducting viewings
  • Monitoring/reporting on competition
  • Key audit on a regular basis
  • Managing lets, rent reviews and renewals.
  • Ensuring all tenancy documents and movein packs are up to date.
  • Liaising with accounts re tenant arrears/credit control and agreeing action plans. Producing relevant legal documentation with guidance as needed.
  • Attending relevant training courses and keeping up to date with relevant legislation.
  • Admin duties including reception cover for busy periods, lunch breaks and annual leave.
  • Liaising with maintenance department and Centre Manager on private landlord expenditure limits and required works where relevant.
  • Complaints handling
  • New business for private landlord properties

What you will have

  • Residential lettings experience (2 years minimum)
  • Previous Sales experience and delivering exceptional customer service
  • A strong team player who is selfmotivated, industrious and works well under pressure
  • Detail oriented, able to set priorities, complete simultaneous projects and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Proven numeracy skills with a good academic record
  • Computer literate including minimum Intermediate standard when using Microsoft packages, Outlook, Excel & Word
  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively in both written & oral, at all levels, internally and externally
  • Ability to "think outside the box"

What's in it for you
