Description

As the Head of Pensions, you will shape and deliver the NHS Employers programme of work in response to pension developments within the NHS.


You will:
- use your knowledge and expertise to support employers to implement appropriate responses to changes in pension and fiscal policies.
- share good practice and develop products as appropriate through active engagement and collaboration

  • Work with senior officials at the Department of Health and Social Care, NHS England and other organisations to influence the development of national policy on a range of issues.
In addition you will contribute, with other Heads of Teams, to the management and development of the Employment Relations and Reward Directorate


About you

- an experienced individual with the confidence to use your initiative and discretion to manage competing priorities in a high paced environment.


And if you can evidence:
- your personal impact and your ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders
- a proven track record of developing, managing and maintaining effective strategic working relationships
- practical experience in providing expert advice
- experience of strong programme management and the ability to effectively prioritise and manage the work of a team
