Description

PURPOSE:


To provide support to the Customer Service Officer and Customer Services Team Leader to ensure productive and efficient administrative support to the wider Streetscene team.


The post holder will provide a wide range of office based services to support the Waste Management, Street Cleansing and Grounds Maintenance services.


Communicate with members of the public, the call centre and internal and external agencies to ensure effective service delivery and to meet the customer promises and service standards of Streetscene.

To provide a full range of office based services for the Streetscene Team.

Answering customer and call centre telephone queries and enquiries and conducting word processing duties and producing spreadsheets.


Qualifications:

A good standard of general education including good applied literacy and numeracy skills.

GCSE Maths and English (C and above) or demonstrable relevant experience


Relevant Experience:

Experience of working to deadlines whilst handling conflicting priorities

Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Experience of working in an office environment

Ability to identify and escalate service failures from routine service requests

Experience delivering excellent customer service

Experience of using Microsoft office systems effectively


Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
From £10.00 per hour
