A great opportunity for full *Nursery Room Leader* to join an established chain of nurseries in Battersea, Greater London.

This nursery is easily commutable from Clapham Junction, Battersea, Wandsworth and Lambeth areas.


Hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, all year round, on a shift pattern OR you can work 4 days per week, spreading the 40 hours over the 4 days.

Ideally looking for someone with *Baby Room Leader* experience.

Salary is *circa £29,000-£30,800K pa *depending upon experience and qualifications.

The ideal applicant for the *Nursery Room Leader* position : -* Must be at least Level 3 qualified in childcare (not health and social care)

  • An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families
  • Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding
  • Experienced at managing a team in a Preschool room
  • Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.
  • Managing and maintaining administration requirements
Responsibilities of a *Nursery Room Leader *will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  • Observe, support and extend children learning.
  • Plan appropriately for children using the EYFS framework.
  • Maintain accurate and effective children's records.
  • Work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members.
  • Demonstrate good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion.
  • Ensuring that all legislation in relation to special needs, safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with.
  • Be responsible for leading the Preschool room
