An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of Protecting Vulnerable People Governance and Scrutiny Administrator, currently based at Sutton Road Maidstone.


You will be working with a small strategic police team engaged in the protection of vulnerable persons therefore a knowledge of safeguarding would be beneficial.


In this role you will be required to provide a comprehensive support service to the PVP Governance and Scrutiny Team and PVP Senior Leadership Team by creating, maintaining and updating accurate records and searching computerised databases, ensuring a high standard of documentation is produced and that information can be easily and securely retrieved.

You will be able to evidence your good communication skills and have an ability to work under pressure. An ability to problem solve with previous customer service skills would be an advantage.

Your responsibilities will include

the supervisor as appropriate

Monitoring and managing e-calendars connected to the Team

Creating and maintaining spread sheets, update tactical delivery and quality service plans, completing internal, external and multi-agency templates and proformas and preparing audit responses

and regular statistics

Maintaining and developing effective working relationships with partner agencies, multiagency partnerships and boards, local authorities, health, education and divisional officers to resolve queries

and ensure that documentation is accurate and complete.

Maintaining and developing SharePoint Insite Pages alongside the Team DS on behalf of PVP Command

This is a challenging role that requires excellent organisational skills together with a methodical approach. The post holder will be a competent IT user and have knowledge of using Athena and STORM
(although training can be provided for this) to research, locate and record relevant information; as well as a good knowledge of variety of Microsoft packages such as word, excel and power point. Fast, accurate
typing skills are required, together with a good standard of grammar and spelling. SharePoint editor training would be beneficial (although training can be provided for this).

This opportunity would suit a highly-motivated and dynamic individual who can bring their wide experience to the role.

You will work alongside a small team of Police Officers and Staff and therefore experience of team working is essential.
