A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Employment Health Associate to join our clients' award-winning international, commercial law firm where you will be part of their successful health employment team, based in
Manchester.
You will be working with clients including NHS England, NHS Trusts, GP practices, private hospital groups, and other providers of healthcare services, where you will be given plenty of client responsibility and exposure but at the same time be part of a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Offering legal counsel to diverse healthcare clients, spanning the NHS, primary care, and private health industries.
- Handling all facets of employment law, such as drafting employment documents, advising on maternity/paternity rights, discrimination, whistleblowing, employee relations, disciplinary actions, grievances, mediation, dismissals, redundancy, restructuring, TUPE, and employment tribunal claims.
- Providing transactional support.
- Establishing and nurturing client and internal partnerships.
- Contributing to business growth initiatives.
Requirements:
- Degree in Law (or equivalent qualification).
- Proven experience supporting an employment team.
- Proficient in managing a caseload and delivering practical advice.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of prioritizing tasks under pressure.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate within a team and work autonomously.
- Adherence to guidelines and procedures.
- Understanding of client needs and expectations.
- Flexible approach, willing to work outside standard hours when necessary.

Salary/Hours:
- £40,000 - £80,000 Depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, 09:00 17: hours per week)
