PHP Engineer
This role is fully remote. Any travel for socials or meet ups will be fully expensed.

Your Responsibilities will be to:

Maintain the suite of microservices and develop new backend features.
Own the development of features endtoend including the scoping, architecture, development, and testing.
Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA and other engineers to design solutions around defined requirements.
Own your product area and document, educate, and deliver improvements.
Make improvements to the developer experience by working with our DX engineer and suggest code improvements and mentorship.

You are required to have:

Experience with PHP 8 and Laravel.
Experience with unit testing (PHPUnit/Pest).
Relational databases including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Experience with Docker.
Strong experience with modern technology stacks and JSON API standards.
A proven track record of singlehandedly taking ideas from conception to production.
Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and tooling.

What will help YOU stand out?

Experience with , JavaScript and Typescript would be extremely beneficial.
An understanding of Microservices and related architectural concepts.
An understanding of AWS and/or Azure.

Reward:

Salary is up to £70,000 DOE. Other benefits include flexible working, medical cover, and 26 days of paid leave PLUS bank holidays.
