GENERAL TEACHING ASSISTANTS (SEN)

28.75 HOURS PER WEEK

8.45AM TO 3.30PM

FIXED TERM CONTRACTS




PAY POINT:
GRADE C (PLUS SEN PAY) SCALE POINT 2-4





COMMENCING:
AS SOON AS POSSIBLE





CLOSING DATE:
9AM ON 26TH JANUARY





INTERVIEW DATE:
31ST JANUARY 2023

About these roles:


Are you someone who is passionate about education and would like to be part of a team supporting children reach their potential in a mainstream primary setting? We currently have a vacancy for Relief General Teaching Assistants to join us.

You will receive child specific training from senior leaders to enable you to skillfully support children across our setting. This may include spoke support packages tailored to the individual needs of pupils.

You will be working with a range of professionals including class teachers, the school Senco and Senior Leaders.

In order to support the learning, you may be required to support individual pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis.

In addition to in-class support, you will also be required to support the general day to day elements of the school setting under the direction of the class teachers or senior leaders.

We are looking for someone who has experience of working with young children, preferably within a Primary education environment.

You need to be qualified at Level 2 or above in a relevant field (linked to education) and have experience of working with children requiring additional support to aid their learning.

Knowledge of supporting pupils with SEND would be beneficial though training will be given.
