Due to continued expansion we are hiring a
Design Co-ordinator to join our team on a new project in the Southeast region.
Delivery:
- Responsible for Design, Development & Coordination of their assigned design packages to enable the seamless delivery & execution of the project.
Team:
- Work collaboratively with their design team, package contractors & project team to achieve the project objectives.
- Ensure design elements are in accordance with the drawings and specifications and fully coordinated with relevant Architectural & MEP requirements.
- Development of look ahead plans keep up to date across all disciplines building regulations BCAR, Environmental, Health and Safety regulations
- Maintain commercial and contractual awareness
Thinking:
- Challenge, critique & explore alternative design solutions to drive continuous improvement & optimum technical solutions on the project. Forward planning, review and understanding of future design information required to meet the project programme.
Specific Requirements
- Relevant Third level Degree 3rd level qualification in Architectural/Project/Engineering/Construction Management
- 57 years' experience preferably with a main contractor
- Strong ability to collaborate and work as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
- Excellent IT skills
