local authority in the

West London region, to recruit an experienced

Corporate Complaints, Learning & Improvement Officer. If you are looking to increase your earnings for the year,


Contract: 3-6 months (Possible Extension)

Salary:
£20 p/h (Umbrella)


Start Date:
June 2023


Shift Pattern: 36 hours / Full-time 09:50am - 17:00pm

DUTIES

  • Managing deadlines for Ombudsman requests and chasing up information from services within the organisation for Ombudsman cases.
  • Managing the Ombudsman mailbox, Complaints Outlook Calendar and liaising with the Ombudsman services.
  • Reviewing and quality assuring Stage 2 complaint responses.
  • Answering team mailbox queries/providing complaints advice.
  • Responding to resident/customer complaints queries and providing updates where required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
  • At least 3 years of experience within a Corporate Complaints role or equivalent.
  • Ability to respond to complainants in a sensitive and understanding manner that demonstrates empathy.
  • Must be able to produce succinct, accurate reports on complaints with some analysis and data gathering of trends.
  • Excellent customer services skills and the ability to communicate at a high level both verbally and in writing.
