Wills, Trusts & Tax Legal Secretary Vacancy - Chester

About the Role
As a Legal Secretary in the Wills, Trust & Tax team you will need to:

  • Provide partners, solicitors and consultants with a high standard of secretarial service in the production and processing of legal documents and correspondence
  • Carry out general team administration including photocopying, filing and scanning
  • Handle telephone enquiries and direct accordingly
  • Manage fee earner diaries


You will need to have experience of working in a legal environment, preferably in a Wills, Trust and Tax department, however Wills, Trust and Tax experience is not essential.

You will also have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.


You will be a confident person with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as a member of a team.


You will have the ability to manage and prioritise your work; with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Wills, Trusts and Tax team has an enviable reputation and is ranked in the independent legal guide The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.

The team specialises in protecting the assets and wealth of high net worth individuals through inheritance and capital gains tax planning, the creation and management of trusts and by the preparation of tax efficient wills.


All solicitors in the team are encouraged to be involved with STEP or ACTAPS, both of which reflect the high quality and complex work that the team undertakes for its clients.

Hours of work & Benefits
This position is a full time position based at our
Chester office.
